Ham And Swiss Sandwich Puff
Ingredients
- 2 c. Swiss cheese (1/2 pound)
- 2 c. grnd cooked ham (1 pound)
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 12 slices sandwich bread (toasted)
- 6 large eggs
- 2 1/4 c. lowfat milk
Directions
- Put cheese and ham through the food chopper. Blend in mayonnaise and mustard. Spread on 6 of the toasted bread slices and then top with remaining slices. Cut each in halves.Beat large eggs with lowfat milk and pour over sandwiches. Refrigerate overnight. Use a baking dish large sufficient for the 6 sandwiches. Bake 35 min at 325 degrees or possibly till custard sets.
