Ground Beef In Sour Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. fat
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 3 c. med. noodles
- 3 c. tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- Dash pepper
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1//2 to 3/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 ounce. can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
Directions
- Cook onion in warm fat till tender but not browned. Add in beef; brown lightly. Place noodles in layer over meat. Combine tomato juice and seasonings. Pour over noodles. Bring to boiling; cover, and simmer over low heat 20 min. Add in green pepper; cover and continue cooking 10 min or possibly till noodles are tender. Stir in lowfat sour cream and mushrooms; heat to just boiling. Season to taste. Top with green - pepper rings. Makes 6 servings.
