Grilled Turkey Breast With Cherry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 x Honeysuckle White bone-in turkey breast (approx. 5 lbs.)
- 1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounce.)
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/2 tsp grnd allspice Preheat grill for indirect-heat grilling. skin side up, on Place turkey grill rack over drip pan. Cover grill and cook 2 - 2 1/2 hrs or possibly till a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion of turkey breast registers 170 degrees F.
Directions
- In small saucepan, over low heat, combine remaining ingredients. Simmer 5 min to blend flavors. Use a blender to puree 1/2 c. sauce. Brush pureed sauce over turkey breast during last 10 min of grilling time. Remove turkey breast from grill and let stand 15 min. To serve, slice breast, arrange slices on platter, and top with remaining hot sauce.
