  • Grilled Thai Sirloin With Tangy Lime Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 lb Boneless Sirloin Steak*, well trimmed Lime Slices & Cilantro Sprigs
    • 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
    • 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp Warm Chili Oil
    • 2 Tbsp. Garlic Pwdr, (Or possibly)
    • 2 Tbsp. Fresh Garlic, crushed
    • 3/4 tsp Pepper
    • 1/3 c. Fresh Cilantro, finely minced
    • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Lime Juice
    • 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
    • 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar, packed
    • 1/4 tsp Pepper

    Directions

    1. *Cut 1 inch thick.
    2. In small bowl, combine 3 tbs. soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil and warm chili oil; whisk till blended. In a second small bowl, combine garlic pwdr and 3/4 tsp pepper. Place beef steak in large shallow dish. Pour 1/2 of soy sauce mixutre over one side of steak; sprinkle with 1/2 minced cilantro. Rub mix firmly into beef. Turn seak over and repeat on second side. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 20 min. Place steak on grill over meduim, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered, 17 to 21 min for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. When steak is almost done, in small saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Place on grid near edge of grill to heat till warm. Carve steak crosswise into thin slices; arrange on heated platter. Spoon sauce over beef; garnish with lime slices and cilantro sprigs. Serve immediately.
