Grilled Shrimp And Chicken
Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper - (to 1/4)
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1/8 tsp onion pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 pt heavy cream
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 4 x boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounce shrimp Grated Romano cheese for garnish
Directions
- In a small bowl mix together the poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper, white pepper, onion pwdr and garlic pwdr. Divide spice mix in half.
- In a small skillet heat butter or possibly margarine over low heat. Add in cream, broth and 1/2 of spice mix. Stir together; let thicken and reduce into sauce and set aside.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add in wine and chicken breasts; saute/fry with remaining half of spice mix about 8 to 10 min each side or possibly till cooked through and juices run clear. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Lightly oil grill grates. Place shrimp on warm grill and cook for 3 to 4 min or possibly till cooked through. Serve each chicken breast topped with grilled shrimp and covered with cream sauce. Garnish with Romano cheese.
