  • Grilled Beef Filets With Sesame Lemon Watercress

    Ingredients

    • 1/3 c. Fresh lemon juice
    • 2 tsp Dark sesame oil
    • 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
    • 1/2 tsp Warm sauce
    • 4 x Beef tenderloin steaks, (4-oz) (1 inch thick) Vegetable cooking spray
    • 2 c. Trimmed watercress, (6 ounces)
    • 1 tsp Sesame seeds, toasted

    Directions

    1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large zip-top heavy-duty plastic bag. Add in steaks; seal bag, and marinate in refrigerator no longer than 20 min, turning occasionally.
    2. Remove steaks from bag, reserving marinade. Coat grill rack with cooking spray, and place on grill over medium-warm coals. Place steaks on rack, and cook 5 min on each side or possibly till desired degree of doneness.
    3. Place reserved marinade in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
    4. Place watercress in a small bowl; add in warm marinade, tossing well. Arrange 1/2 c. watercress mix on each of 4 serving plates. Place 1 steak on top of watercress; sprinkle each with 1/4 tsp. sesame seeds.
    5. Yield: 4servings.
