Grilled Beef Filets With Sesame Lemon Watercress
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. Fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp Dark sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Warm sauce
- 4 x Beef tenderloin steaks, (4-oz) (1 inch thick) Vegetable cooking spray
- 2 c. Trimmed watercress, (6 ounces)
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds, toasted
Directions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a large zip-top heavy-duty plastic bag. Add in steaks; seal bag, and marinate in refrigerator no longer than 20 min, turning occasionally.
- Remove steaks from bag, reserving marinade. Coat grill rack with cooking spray, and place on grill over medium-warm coals. Place steaks on rack, and cook 5 min on each side or possibly till desired degree of doneness.
- Place reserved marinade in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Place watercress in a small bowl; add in warm marinade, tossing well. Arrange 1/2 c. watercress mix on each of 4 serving plates. Place 1 steak on top of watercress; sprinkle each with 1/4 tsp. sesame seeds.
- Yield: 4servings.
