Grandma W's Cooked Coleslaw Dressing
A tangy sweet dressing. One recipe will make two batches using 16 oz. pre-shredded bags of cabbage. Toss your preferred dressing amount with cabbage just prior to eating. Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Sugar
- 1 egg - beaten
- 1/4 C. Butter
- 1/4 C. Water
- 1 Tsp. Celery Seed
- 1 C. Salad Oil
- 1/2 C. Miracle Whip ( I use light )
Directions
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in saucepan. Boil for 3 to 5 minutes. Let this cool. Add the last 2 ingredients and beat until smooth.
