GOLDEN BARS
Pumpkins and walnuts together in a recipe.That has to be good both for the taste buds and also for our health and immune system.So this recipe just is made for a healthy snack which is both good for you and also so very yummy too.Lovely snack/ treat for the kids. Ingredients
- 1 can yellow pumpkin pulp
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 box plain vanilla cake mix
- 100 gm butter- plain
- 1 cup walnuts crushed coarsely
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 4 tbsp honey
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Grease and line a cake pan with wax paper
- Mix pumpkin puree,milk,condensed milk,sugar,cinnamon and honey.
- Pour into the pan.Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the Pumpkin mix.
- Sprinkle coarsely powdered walnut powder evenly on top of cake mix.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Let it cool for 15 mins and then turn it over onto a serving platter.
- Remove wax paper carefully and refrigerate until ready to be served.
