  • Glazed Baby Back Ribs

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp. grnd cumin
    • 1 Tbsp. garlic pwdr
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 6 lb baby back pork ribs
    • 1 jar (10.5 ounces) warm pepper jelly
    • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
    • 2 Tbsp. minced pickled jalapeno peppers from a jar

    Directions

    1. Prepare grill for indirect heat. In small bowl, combine cumin, garlic pwdr, salt and pepper; rub over both sides of ribs. Place ribs directly over coals; sear 2-3 min per side. Move ribs to indirect-heat side of grill. Cover; cook 1 1/2 hrs, turning ribs every 30 min. Meanwhile, in bowl combine jelly, juice and jalapenos; set aside. Brush top of ribs with 1/2 of jelly mix; continue cooking till tender, about 10 min. Brush ribs with remaining glaze; cook till glaze is set, about 5 min.
    2. Yield: 6 servings
