  • German Apple Pudding Cake

    Ingredients

    • 2 c. Peeled Apples, Diced
    • 1 c. Sugar
    • 1 whl Egg
    • 1 c. Flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
    • 1 tsp Baking Soda
    • 1 c. Nuts, Minced
    • 3/4 c. Raisins
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1/2 c. Brown Sugar
    • 1 c. Water
    • 1/2 c. Sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. Flour
    • 1/4 c. Butter
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1/2 c. Nuts, Minced
    • 1/2 c. Raisins

    Directions

    1. 1. Mix apples and sugar together.
    2. 2. Let stand till sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
    3. 3. Add in Large eggs and mix well.
    4. Cake:4. Sift dry ingredients together.
    5. 5. Stir into apple mix.
    6. 6. Add in nuts, raisins and vanilla.
    7. 7. Pour into 8 x 8" pan that is slightly oiled.
    8. Topping:1. Mix sugar, water and flour. Cook till slightly thick and clear.
    9. 2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir till butter is melted.
    10. 3. Pour over warm baked cake while still in pan.
