Garlic Shrimp (Mediterranean)
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 4 lrg Cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1 lb Medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. Paprika Salt and pepper Minced fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish
Directions
- In a saute/fry pan over medium heat, hot the extra virgin olive oil. Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes and saute/fry for 1 minute. Raise the heat to high and add in the shrimp, lemon juice, sherry and paprika. Stir well, then saute/fry, stirring briskly, till the shrimp turn pink and curl slightly, about 3 min.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and sprinkle with garlic. Serve warm.
