- 1 # fresh squid (cleaned) and cut into rings
- Hot pepper jelly
- olive oil
- Mix jelly with Dijon (2 T. jelly to 1 T. mustard)
- Spice corn meal as desired.
- Gently coat squid rings and tentacles.
- Heat olive oil in large fry pan. I use only enough to flash fry squid.
- Cook 2-3 minutes each side.
