Fried Zucchini
Almost better than french fries! Ingredients
- 1 lb. zucchini, cut into the shape of your choice (wedges, rounds, strips, etc.)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup cornmeal
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine flour and cornmeal; set aside.
- Soak zucchini in buttermilk for at least one hour.
- Coat in flour mixture.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
