FRENCH POTATOES
I love this simple recipe. The smell of the fresh thyme reminds me of spring when they are cooking. These potatoes are also wonderful served with beef filets. Enjoy! Ingredients
- 5 or 6 Medium potatoes
- 1 1/2 cup Hvy. whipping cream
- chopped chives or you may use green onions
- 2 lg. cloves of garlic minced
- 4 springs of fresh thyme
- 2 big handfuls of parmesan cheese
Directions
- Slice potatoes paper thin, I slice mine in the food processor. I just love this kitchen tool! Put sliced potatoes into a 9 x 13 pan. In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake @ 375 for 45 minutes. A slight crust will appear on top.
