Freezer Soup or Pepper Steak Soup
Finding a container with mystery ingredients, I defrosted it to find some pepper steak. I had counted on it being soup so I transformed it, into one of the most tasty soups, I have had. Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- left over pepper steak and sauce (cooked meat of any kind)
- 2 cups water or more
- 2 cups sliced bell peppers, any color
- 3/4 cup snow peas (frozen)
- 1 teaspon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- dash of black pepper
- 1 ginger cube (frozen)
- 1 garlic cube (frozen)
- 1 basil cube (frozen)
- You can substitute real ginger, garlic and basil or dried. I love the little cubes.
- 1 medium onion sliced
- a few mushrooms, sliced
Directions
- Put pepper steak and water in medium saucepan.
- Add seasoning cubes.
- Add Worcesterhire sauce and soy sauce.
- In skillet, stir fry the onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and snow peas, briefly.
- Add the vegetables to the soup.
- If you think more water is needed, add the amount necessary. If you add a lot, I would double the spices and sauces.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
