  • For 1: Beef And Vegetable Stir Fry With Noodl

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp. Packed brown sugar
    • 1 Tbsp. Wine vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
    • 1 tsp Cornstarch
    • 1/4 lb Round steak
    • 2 tsp Vegetable oil
    • 2 c. Oriental mix vegetables
    • 4 ounce Steamed Chinese noodles, broken up

    Directions

    1. Oriental style frzn vegetables are available in most supermarkets.
    2. Look for vacuum packaged steamed noodles in the produce department. Package usually contains 350g [approx 11 ounce] only 1/4 pkg is required.
    3. In small bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch and 1 tb water. Stir till cornstarch is dissolved; set aside.
    4. Trim fat from steak; cut meat into thin sliced diagonally. In nonstick skillet, heat half of the oil over medium-high heat; cook meat, stirring, for 2-3 min or possibly till well browned. Remove to plate. Add in remaining oil and vegetables to pan; stir-fry for 5-6 min or possibly till tender. Stir cornstarch mix; stir into pan along with meat. Cook, stirring, till sauce is boiling and thickened. Add in noodles; cook till heated through.
