Flank Steak with Special Sauce!
This is a simple marinade that combines some ingredients you wouldn't normally combine. It's a Japanese-French concoction that is sure to put a smile on your face! Ingredients
- 3 lbs flank steak (about 2 steaks)
- 2/3 cup dry red wine
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 6 large cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
- 1/3 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
- Coarsely ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients but steak in a bowl and mix. Then add flank steaks and coat well.
- Marinate steaks covered in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to overnight, turning once.
- Broil or grill steaks over high heat, 3 inches from heat source, about 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Remove to cutting board and let sit for 10 minutes.
- To serve, thinly slice on the diagonal and arrange on a serving platter.
