  • Five Flavor Pound Cake

    Ingredients

    • 2 stk margarine
    • 1/4 c. Shortening
    • 3 c. Sugar
    • 5 x Egg
    • 3 c. All purpose flour
    • 1 c. Lowfat milk
    • 1 tsp Rum
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 tsp Coconut
    • 1 tsp Lemon flavoring
    • 1 tsp Butter flavoring
    • 1 c. Sugar
    • 1/2 c. Water
    • 1/2 tsp Rum
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
    • 1/2 tsp Coconut
    • 1/2 tsp Lemon flavoring
    • 1/2 tsp Butter flavoring

    Directions

    1. Cream together margarine, shortening and sugar. Beat Large eggs and add in to creamed mix. Mix flour and add in baking pwdr. Alternately add in lowfat milk and flour mix to creamed mix. Stir in flavorings. Bake at 325 degrees in a 10 inch tube or possibly baking loaf pan for 1 1/2 hrs. When cake is done, cold, remove and glaze.
    2. GLAZE - Boil sugar and water till sugar dissolves. Add in the flavorings.
