Fillipino Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 2 c. Rice, steamed
- 1/2 lb Bacon, fried crisp
- 1 sm Green bell pepper, diced
- 1 med onion, diced
- 1 sm cabbage, shredded
- 2 x Cloves garlic, minced
- 3 x Carrots, slivered Leftover pork or possibly beef roast, diced in bite size chunks
- 1/2 c. Soy sauce
- 1 c. Frzn green peas, thawed
Directions
- In large skillet, fry bacon till crisp. Remove, leaving 1 to 2 Tablespoons of bacon grease. Stir fry all vegetables till crisp or possibly desired texture. Add in meat and crumbled bacon. Mix well. Add in steamed rice. Thoroughly mix; add in soy sauce and peas and mix.
