  • Fast Linguine With Clam Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1 can minced clams for each portion Garlic Oregano Parsley
    • 1 pch red pepper flakes
    • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 3 Tbsp. butter
    • 1 pkt linguine Parmesan-Reggiano grated

    Directions

    1. One of my fastest meals is also one of my family's favorites. Have one can of minced clams for each portion. Saute/fry garlic, oregano, parsley and a healthy pinch of red pepper flakes in a mix of 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil and 3 Tbsp. butter. Meanwhile, boil water for the pasta.
    2. When the pasta water boils, drop in the linguine. Add in clams to the sauce mix and heat. When the pasta's done and liquid removed, place it in a serving bowl and spoon the clam mix over the top. Offer grated Parmesan-Reggiano. I serve this with a side salad of bagged greens dressed with extra virgin olive oil and vinegar. Yum.
