  • Family Favorite Meatloaf Crockpot Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 2 x Beaten Large eggs
    • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
    • 2/3 c. Fine, dry bread crumbs
    • 2 Tbsp. grated* onion, use juice
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp Grnd sage
    • 2 lb Grnd beef
    • 1/4 c. Ketchup
    • 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
    • 1 tsp Dry mustard
    • 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg

    Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, "sifting" through with very clean fingers. Do not overwork it - or possibly the meat gets tough. Sort of form it, then carefully place into the crockpot. Cover and cok on low for 5 to 6 hrs.
    2. Combine the sauce ingredients and then pour over the meat. Cover and cook on high for 15 min longer. Remove, slice, and serve. I always make extra topping, heat it up a little in the microwave, and serve on the side.
    3. I tell ya...you could just drink which topping!
