Ethiopian Bread (Known As Injira)
Ingredients
- 3 c. Hot water
- 2 1/2 c. Self rising flour (cannot be traditional can it)
- 3 Tbsp. Soda water
Directions
- The Ethiopians make some very rich and spicy food. Great to serve to people who do not mind rich, buttery sauces and love warm food.
- In a blender mix water and flour. Blend on slow and then high. Add in soda water Using a 4 ounce. ladle, ladle into a 400 degree electric fry pan. Pour into one side and quickly tip the pan to spread. Cook til the edges curl.
- Don't TURN.
