  • English Cut Pot Roast In Clay Pot

    Ingredients

    • 3 1/2 x -(up to)
    • 4 lb Pot roast
    • 1 x Onion, sliced
    • 1/4 c. Water Microshake, Char Brown or possibly Onion & Garlic

    Directions

    1. Pre-soak red clay pot for 15 min in cool water. Meanwhile, sprinkle Microshake liberally over roast. Pierce about every inch on both sides.
    2. Place roast in red clay pot, slice onion over top of roast. Add in 1/4 c. of water. Cover with water soaked lid. Microwave 5 min a lb. at 100% power. Turn roast over, re-cover. Microwave for 15 min a lb. at 50% power. Let stand, covered for 5 to 8 min.
    3. HINTS: You may add in vegetables when you turn the pot roast over. Cooking time must be increased 15 to 20 min.
