Easy Oven Spareribs

- 6 lbs. sapreribs, trimmed
- 1/2 cup dry pork rub, commercial or homemade
- 2 cups BBQ Sauce
- Homemade Pork Rub:
- 1 tbs. each: paprika, cumin, sugar, brown sugar, chile powder, oregano, pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder
Directions
- Combine the rub ingredients.
- Put all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, turn down and simmer 30 minutes.
- Massage the rub into the ribs. Let stand room temp 1 hour, or longer in the fridge.
- Heat the oven to 300 F.
- Place the ribs in a baking pan, meaty side up, wrap with foil.
- Bake 1 hour.
- Baste ribs with sauce, bake another hour.
- Baste again in 30 minutes. The meat will pull away from the ends of the bones when done.
- Re-wrap the ribs and let rest 10-20 minutes.
- Cut between the bones and serve with sauce.
