Easy falafel with salads
Easy falafel is one of the best ways to replace meatballs and try something vegetarian. It is a healthy alternative for those, who want to avoid fat. Ingredients
- 425g Canned chickpeas
- 1/3cup of chopped Parsley
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- 3 Onion
- 2 spoons of Sesame seeds
- 1 spoon of Ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of Pepper
- 4 spoons of Flour
- 2 spoons of Oil
- FOR SAUCE:
- 3 spoons of Hummus
- 1/2 spoon of Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of Dill
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- some Water
- pinch of Salt
Directions
- Wash chickpeas with cold water and let them dry, pour into blender. Pour parsley, onions, garlic, sesame seeds, cumin, salt, and pepper. Shred everything to little pieces.
- Put everything into a bowl, pour flour and mix everything up. Pour a bit of salt, pepper, and cumin, puddle everything, cover a bowl and leave in a fridge for one hour.
- Form little pancakes or another form, as you like, pour some oil and fry from both sides in a frying – pan. Fry for about 6 – 8 minutes.
- For sauce squeeze, lemon juice, pour hummus, dill and squeeze garlic. Pour a little bit of water and mix everything up.
- Serve them and enjoy.
