Easy Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients
- 4 half chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 ounce. (1 c.) Italian style bread crumbs (such as Progresso)
- 2 ounce. (1/2 c.) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (such as Lawry's)
- 6 ounce. sliced Provolone cheese
- 32 ounce. Prego spaghetti sauce (plain or possibly mushroom)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and seasoning salt in a shallow bowl. Dip chicken pcs in egg; coat liberally with combined bread crumb, Parmesan cheese, and salt mix. Fry in warm pan with minimum oil till chicken is fully cooked and coating is at least medium brown. Place in baking pan. Cover with spaghetti sauce. Place cheese slices on top. Bake 20 to 25 min at 400 degrees. Allow to cold slightly before serving. 4 portions, but so good you may need to make more for 4 people!
