Easy Chicken Nuggets
I have tried lots of recipes for these and none have come out quite as good as these did. Ingredients
- 3-4 boneless chicken breasts cut into one inch cubes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 pkg ranch dressing mix (dry) or alfredo mix (dry)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp poultry season
- 1/2 tsp white pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp red or cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp cajun season or season salt
- 1 tbsp italian season (or one tsp each oregano, basil, rosemary
- and thyme)
- 2 medium eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Canola Oil for frying (you can also bake these in the oven)
Directions
- mix all dry ingredients in a medium size bowl
- whisk together eggs and milk in a separate bowl
- Heat oil on medium heat (depending on your stove I suggest 6 or 7)
- take one inch cubes of chicken dip in egg
- then dredge thru flour mixture
- drop one at a time in hot oil
- cook on each side 2-5 mins until medium golden brown
- be careful not to overcook them as they will be really tough to chew.
- serve with fries or tots
- hot
- NOTE: if cooking in oven cook on 350 for about 15-20 minutes depending on how many you are cooking and your oven temp.
