Easy Beef And Macaroni
Ingredients
- 4 c. thawed Savory Meat Base (see recipe)
- 1 can diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce)
- 2 tsp chili pwdr
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 x bay leaf
- 4 c. warm cooked elbow macaroni Lowfat sour cream for garnish Sliced green onions for garnish
Directions
- Heat Savory Meat Base in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Stir in diced tomatoes, chili pwdr, paprika, and leaf. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 min. Throw away bay leaf.
- Stir in macaroni; cook 5 more min. Top with lowfat sour cream and sliced green onions.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
