Easy Apple Caramel Cake (Cake Mix)
This cake is great for the holiday season. It will not, however work in a bundt pan, as the caramel floats to the bottom. Ingredients
- 1 box butter, spice, or yellow cake mix
- 1 small box vanilla pudding
- 1 C apple cider or apple juice
- 1/2 C applesauce
- 1/2 bag Kraft Caramel Bits, or 12 minced caramels
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
- Caramel ice cream topping, or use canned caramel or other frosting
Directions
- Heat oven to 350.
- Grease and flour a 9x13 cake pan.
- Mix eggs with other wet ingredients.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until just blended, pour into pan.
- Bake about 30 minutes and check for doneness.
- Let the cake cool, cut into 12 pieces, drizzle caramel topping on top.
