I grew up on the west coast, lived most of my adult life in Hawaii and now live on the east coast . This granola takes my favorite flavors from each place and puts them all together. It's pretty to look and tasty too .

    • 1 cup roughly chopped raw cashews or macadamia nuts
    • 1 c raw slivered almonds
    • 3/4 cup shredded coconut
    • 3/4 cup raw pepitas (hulled pumpkin seeds)
    • 1/2 c toasted wheat germ
    • 1/3 c dark brown sugar
    • 1/2 c maple syrup ( B grade is fine)
    • 1 t kosher or fine sea salt
    • 1/2 t cinnamon
    • 1/2 c canola oil
    • 1 cup dried cranberries
    • 1 cup diced dried apricots

    Directions
