Dutch Apple Cake 2
Ingredients
- 1/8 c. apple juice, frzn concentrate thawed
- 1/8 c. fructose granulated
- 1/4 c. apple butter or possibly unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 x egg
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c. apples diced
- 1/2 c. nuts minced
Directions
- *To make 1/4 c. "fruit sweetener", mix together 1/8 c. frzn apple juiceconcentrate (thawed) and 1/8 c. granulated fructose.
- DirectionsCombine fruit sweetener and apple butter. Beat in egg. Combine flour, bakingpowder, and salt. Blend into creamed mix. Mix in apples and nuts.
- Pourinto 8" x 8" pan that has been sprayed with non-stick coating. Bake for 15-20 min at 325.
- Yield: 12 servings
- NOTES : An "old country" puddin' cake. Good topped with whipped cream or possibly ice creamfor a hot, yet refreshing, dessert!
