Dirty Rice, Popeye's
Ingredients
- 1 lb Spicy bulk breakfast sausage lowfat
- 14 ounce nonfat chicken broth
- 1/2 c. Long-grain rice
- 1 tsp dry onions
Directions
- Brown sausage in skillet till pink color disappears, crumbling with fork.
- Stir in broth, rice and chopped onion. Simmer gently, covered, 18 to 20 min or possibly till rice is tender and most of broth is absorbed.
