Deep Fried Stuffed Sardines
Ingredients
- 24 x sardines, fresh
- 1/2 c. fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. parsley, minced
- 4 clv garlic, crushed salt, pepper
- 1/2 c. flour, plain
- 500 ml vegetable oil
Directions
- Clean sardines and rinse well. Pat dry.
- Heat butter, combine with breadcrumbs, garlic and parsley. Season well.
- Stuff sardines with mix and healthy pinch together the opening, roll in seasoned flour and deep fry in warm oil for 2-3 min.
- Drain well and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
