Crockpot Split Pea Soup
Ingredients
- 1 x (1-lb) package split peas
- 1 x Ham bone (with some meat Left on) or possibly
- 2 x Ham hocks
- 1 x Carrot, diced
- 1 x Onion, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 2 quart Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in slow-cooking pot. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs. Remove ham bone; cut meat off, dice, and return meat to soup.
- Makes 8 servings
