Crockpot Chicken And Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 6 x boneless chicken breasts
- 2 Tbsp. margarine salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. dry italian dressing
- 3 1/2 ounce cream of mushroom soup
- 6 ounce light cream cheese cubed
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 can mushroom stems and pcs
- 1/4 c. sherry
Directions
- Wash chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chicken in crockpot. Sprinkle dressing on top. Cover and cook on low for 5 or possibly 6 hrs. 1 hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, sherry and onion in a saucepan.
- Cook till smooth, stirring.
- Spoon over chicken. Add in mushrooms. Cook 30 min longer. Serve over rice or possibly noodles.
