Crockery Pot Old Fashioned Vege/Beef Soup
Ingredients
- 1 med Leek, wash/chop
- 3 x Ribs celery, minced
- 6 x Carrots, peel/chop
- 1 can Corn, (10.5 ounce) liquid removed or possibly frzn corn
- 3 x Baking potatoes, peeled, cut in 1/2" cubes
- 1 lb Boneless beef chuck or possibly round steak, trim of fat, cut in 1/2" cubes
- 1 can Stewed tomatoes, undrained, 14.5 ounce
- 1/4 c. Tomato paste
- 3 c. Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 pkt Powdered instant Beef broth
Directions
- In a 6-qt electric crockery-cooker, combine all ingredients. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low-heat setting 8 to 9 hrs, or possibly till meat is tender.
