Creamed Dried Beef And Noodles
Absolutely delicious. Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 pound dry beef
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- 4 c. lowfat milk
- 8 ounce. (4 to 5 c.) Muller's egg noodles
Directions
- Cook peas as directed on package, mix with 2 Tbsp. butter, set aside.
- Tear dry beef into shreds.
- In skillet, heat 1/4 c. butter, add in dry beef and cook over low heat a few min.
- Remove from heat, blend in flour. Add in lowfat milk, cook, stirring constantly till sauce thickens slightly.
- Meanwhile, cook noodles as directed. Drain. Return noodles to pot. Add in peas and butter, toss lightly.
- Arrange noodles on serving dish. Pour creamed dry beef over.
- Serve.
