Crab Seafood Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 12 ounce medium pasta shells Salt as needed
- 1/2 lb imitation crab meat broken in pcs
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 4 x green onions thinly sliced Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp onion pwdr
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water till al dente, 10 to 12 min. Rinse, drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the crab, mayonnaise, buttermilk, onions, lemon juice, onion pwdr, garlic, seasoned salt, parsley and pepper to taste. Add in the pasta shells and mix again. Cover and refrigerateovernight.
- This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
