Crab Cakes Our Way
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh crabmeat
- 6 x saltine crackers - (to 8) finely crushed
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 lrg egg lightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine Red Pepper Remoulade Sauce (see recipe)
Directions
- Drain and flake crabmeat, removing any bits of shell.
- Combine crushed crackers and next 7 ingredients; gently fold crabmeat into mix. Shape into 6 thin patties.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add in crab cakes; cook 4 to 5 min on each side or possibly till golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with Red Pepper Remoulade Sauce.
- This recipe yields 6 cakes.
- Yield: 6 cakes
