Courgette, Nut And Raisin Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Courgette, Grated
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/4 tsp Active Baker's Yeast
- 2 c. Bread Flour
- 1/4 c. Rolled Oats
- 2 Tbsp. Wheat, Cracked
- 2 Tbsp. Powdered Lowfat milk
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 x Egg
- 1/3 c. Water
- 1/2 c. Raisins, And/Or possibly Nuts Large Loaf, (1 1/2
- 3/4 c. Courgette, Grated
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Active Baker's Yeast
- 3 c. Bread Flour
- 1/3 c. Rolled Oats
- 3 Tbsp. Wheat, Cracked
- 3 Tbsp. Powdered Lowfat milk
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 x Egg
- 1 x Egg Yolk
- 1/2 c. Water
- 3/4 c. Raisins, And/Or possibly Nuts
Directions
- 1. Put grated courgette in colander or possibly strainer. Sprinkle with half the salt, let drain 30 min, squeeze dry.
- 2. Add in all ingredients except the raisings and/or possibly nuts in the order suggested by your bread machine manual. Process on basic bread cycle according to manufacturer's directions.
- 3. At beeper (or possibly end of first kneading) add in raisins and/or possibly nuts. Let loaf cold before slicing.
