Coney Island Chili Dog Sauce
Bring the pier to your dinner table! Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 six oz can tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp. dry, chopped onion
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin (heaping)
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet
- Add onions half way through.
- Add in chopped garlic when meat is nearly done.
- Add in remaining ingredients; stir well to combine.
- Simmer over low heat 15 min.
- Serve over warm hot dogs, Coney Island style!
