Citrus Sauce For Fish
Ingredients
- 1 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Lime juice
- 1/2 c. Soy sauce
- 1/4 c. Orange marmalade, cut finely
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1 1/2 tsp Finely grated lemon rind, i.e. lemon zest
Directions
- Bring water, lime juice, soy sauce, and marmalade to a gently boil till marmalade dissolves. Mix 3 Tbsp. of cornstarch with the remaining 1/4 c. of water, and add in to the mix. Return mix to a gently boil till it thickens. Add in lemon rind and stir. Remove from heat, and let stand till the sauce reaches room temperature.
