  • Cinnamon Ginger Cookies

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 c. brown sugar
    • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    • 2 Tbsp. molasses
    • 2 Tbsp. 2% yogurt
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 c. all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp ginger
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Healthy pinch nutmeg
    • 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick vegetable spray.
    2. In bowl, combine 1/4 c. brown sugar, margarine, molasses, yogurt and vanilla till well mixed.
    3. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg; stir into bowl just till combined.
    4. Using tsp., form dough into small balls and place on baking sheet. Press flat with fork; sprinkle with 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar. Bake for 10 to 12 min.
