  • Cinnamon Apple Flan

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 stk butter
    • 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 2 tsp Cinnamon
    • 2 x Green apples, peel, core & slice
    • 4 x Large eggs
    • 1 c. Flour, unbleached
    • 1 1/4 c. 1% lowfat lowfat milk Powdered sugar

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar & cinnamon. Add in the sliced apples. Cook till apples are translucent/soft, about 5 min.
    3. While the apples are cooking, put lowfat milk, Large eggs and vanilla in blender; mix thoroughly. Then add in flour to mix and blend.
    4. Spray pie dish with PAM. Add in apples, then pour in batter. Bake for about 15 min or possibly till puffy and golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
