  • Chocolate Ice Cream Pie

    Ingredients

    • 20 x Oreos crushed
    • 1/3 c. melted butter
    • 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 1 Tbsp. butter
    • 1 sm can evaporated lowfat milk
    • 1 Tbsp. chocolate ice cream
    • 1 c. whipping cream Sugar Vanilla Nuts or possibly grated chocolate

    Directions

    1. FOR CRUST: Combine ingredients. Press into 9" pie pan. Chill.
    2. FOR FILLING:Heat unsweetened chocolate over water. Stir in sugar and butter. Add in evaporated lowfat milk. Cook over water till thickened. Cold. Spread chocolate ice cream in pie shell. Spread chocolate mix over ice cream. Freeze. Mix whipping cream, adding sugar and vanilla to taste. Spread over chocolate. Spread with nuts or possibly grated chocolate. Freeze. Let stand out of freezer 15 min before cutting and serving.
    3. Serves 8-10.
