  • CHOCOLATE CROCKPOT PUDDING CAKE

    This is absolutely amazing – rich, moist, dark chocolate yummyness and a cinch to make.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Pkg. chocolate cake mix
    • 1 Pkg. Instant chocolate pudding mix {3.9 oz.}
    • 2 C sour cream
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 C water
    • 3/4 C vegetable oil
    • 1 C semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 C nuts - your choice - I like walnuts or pecans (optional)
    • Whipped cream or ice cream – optional

    Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients.
    2. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
    3. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
    4. Pour into a 5-quart slow cooker that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray.
    5. Cover and cook on Low for 6-7 hours or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.
    6. Serve in bowls with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
