I revised the hersheys recipe to pack more nutrients in for the kiddos, replace the eggs(Im allergic) reduce the gluten...Im TRYING....to get there(i used pastry flour, its much lower in gluten, you can use reg. unbleached all purpose but if you use graham I would put it in the blender and mill it first to make it finer)

    Ingredients

    • 11/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour
    • 1 cup sorghum flour
    • 1/4 cup flaxseed (oranic and milled)
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 2 tbsp soy lecithin granules(pretty sure you could omit this if you dont have on hand,or use 1 tsp guar gum)
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 banana
    • 1 stick butter softened
    • 1/2 cup cocount oil (organic and softened)
    • 1/4 cup stevia(powdered)
    • 1/4 cup agave nectar
    • 3/4 cup light brown pure cane organic sugar
    • 1/4 cup coconut milk (organic vanilla)
    • 1 tbsp egg replacer(or 1 egg white)
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 3 tsp applesauce(unsweetened)
    • 1 bag or 12 oz choc chips or carob chips(I used semi-sweet)

    Directions

    1. Pre-heat oven to 375.
    2. Mix all the dry ingredients together(the first 6) in seperate bowl
    3. Cream all other ingredients except the choc. chips in electric stand mixer(or with a mixer,or by hand)
    4. Add dry ingredients to wet, whilst mixing slowly.
    5. Combine chocolate chips.
    6. Spoon unto baking stones or greased cookie sheets
    7. cook for 15-18 minutes convect, prob.shorter using regular oven one pan at a time?
