Chilled Raspberry Bavarian Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 c. Cool water
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs, seperated
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 c. Raspberries
- 1/2 c. Heavy cream, whipped
Directions
- Soften gelatin in water 5 min. Scald lowfat milk, add in gelatin and stir till disolved. Mix egg yolks with sugar and add in warm lowfat milk gradually. Cook over boiling water 3 min till mix coats a spoon. Remove from heat and chill. When mix begins to thicken add in lemon juice and raspberries. Mix in stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Pour into spring-form pan and refrigeratetill hard. Unmold and serve in slices like cake.
