Chilled Cinnamon & Ginger Tea
We had this drink after our meal when we went to a Korean restaurant. It was amazing. It's rich, spicey, zingy and sweet all at the same time. Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 1 piece ginger, peeled and sliced
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- 1/2 cup rock sugar
- Pine nuts for garnish
Directions
- In a medium-sized pot, bring water to boil.
- Add ginger and cinnamon and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in rock sugar until fully dissolved.
- Let cool, and then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, divide into individual cups and garnish with pine nuts.
