chili my way( spicy )
a hearty put simple meal Ingredients
- 1 lb.ground beef
- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 1 cup of long grain rice
- 1 cans of red chili beans
- 1 can mex. diced tomatoes
- 1 can mex. stewed tomatoes
- 1 lrg. can tomatoe paste
- 1 red and yellow bell pepper
- 4 cups of water
- 1 habanero pepper
- 1 cayenne pepper
- 2 packages chili seasoning(your fav. brand)
Directions
- place ground beef,sausage,red and yellow peppers and chili seasoning in large pot
- cook till peppers are tender and meat is cooked
- add can of chili beans.diced and stewed tomatoes
- add chopped hot peppers
- 4 cups of water and rice
- cook on low heat to give the flavors time to marry
- cook 3 to 4 hrs.and serve
- if can let it set in the frig overnight it better the next day
